Friends of Leeds Student.
In previous years it saddened us greatly that not everyone could get their hands on a copy of our wonderful paper and, although our fantastic website grows daily, sometimes it’s just nice to hold a good old-fashioned newspaper!
Luckily, we created the ‘Friends of Leeds Student’ scheme, whereby for a very small annual fee we will deliver the latest edition to the comfort of your own home.
For only £30 a year, you will receive all 18 editions in the first class post: that’s less that £1.70 an issue!
For an application form, please contact editor@leedsstudent.org.
Writer’s Drop-in Surgery
Friday 1pm-3.30pm
Writing an article isn’t always as easy as it may appear. If you would like some one-on-one advice as to how to improve your writing skills, why not drop into our weekly writer’s surgery?
Alternatively, perhaps you are confused as to why the article you spent your valuable time on has been changed before going to print. If you bring a copy of your original submission along to the surgery, we are more than willing to explain any changes and help you improve for next time.
Advertising
We offer great deals on advertising space in both our print copy and on this very website. With a print run of 5,000 and a four fold readership of up to 20,000 students and even more online, taking out an advert in the Leeds Student promotes your company or product to quite a large potential market!
To receive a specialised Media Pack with much more information, please contact editor@leedsstudent.org
Archive
We can now offer you the facility to check back on this years’ archive. Simply click on the ‘online archive’ button.
Leeds Student has a long and rich history. This year, by working along side the University of Leeds archive department, we will be giving you access to over a hundred years of Leeds Student history through state-of-the-art digitalized archives. This means that not only can you read what’s happening in Leeds right now, but also what was hitting front page 30 years ago! Check back for this facility.
