Nicole Richie best known for appearing on magazine covers wearing couture creations and frequenting the red carpet, has now turned her hand to designing. 

Richie initially delved into the designing spotlight with her jewelry range House of Harlow, now she has extended into ready-to-wear fashion with her debut Spring/Summer collection entitled ‘Winter Kate’ (the middle names of Richie’s daughter). The label encompasses a mix of West Hollywood and Boho Chic and has made Nicole’s signature style accessible to everyone.

The collection encapsulates mixes of ethnic printed silks, vintage laces with fringed details. The inspiration for the collection is the 60’s and 70’s, the trends of which feature so prominently in Richies’ own fashion choices. The subtle colour palette consisting of blacks, greens, taupe and pastel nudes also enable the collection to be on trend, versatile and wearable.

The best pieces in the collection are the taupe, vintage silk top (£135) with long kimono sleeves, an open front and waterfall detailing, the perfect accompaniment to layering for effortless chic. In addition, the maxi dress patterned with a floral print (£240), cut with a deep ‘v’ neckline and short kimono sleeves is effortless Boho Chic with wrists decorated in ‘House of Harlow’ gold embellished bangles (£95).
