The American Apparel guide to strokably soft legs!

Let’s face it, there is no avoiding that chill in the air. Winter has definitely hit and short of that age old trick of tights under leggings, the good old wardrobe staple (the black cotton legging) just isn’t cutting it. Thankfully those lovely guys at american apparel have come up with yet another version of the legging for us all to go and fritter our cash on! 

At £42 you have to really, really want these but there are hundreds of reasons why they’re worth the splurge - believe me I’ve been working on these reasons to justify my own guilt!

Firstly, velvet feels amazing. Thank you American Apparel now I have instant slinky leg appeal! Secondly, aside from being bang on trend, black velvet can easily be dressed up or alternatively, and my preferred option, worn with a trashed tee, pair of well loved loafers and a snuggly oversized cardie for effortlessly classy casual comfort. And finally, if that isn’t enough persuasion, they are so much warmer than the black cotton staples we’ve learnt to love over the autumn months!
