Man caught spying on swimmers at The Edge

Most of us will be catching a glimpse of Olympic action this summer but one cheeky chappy landed himself a court case trying to get an eyeful.
Declan Crosbie was caught by staff at The Edge when they discovered him locked in a toilet cubicle with his fly undone, trying to spy on female Chinese swimmers.
The 25 year old tried to outwit staff by putting on a female voice when they questioned him.
Leeds Magistrates Court heard how Crosbie tried to make a run for it when he heard the police were being called but was later caught.
He has previously been convicted of voyeurism after similar incidents in leisure centres.
The University responded to the incident, saying: “the athletes from the Olympic team were not booked in for a training session at the sports centre, so the highest level of security was not active”, adding that, though such incidents are “rare”, it would be reviewing security.
Crosbie has been remanded in custody while he waits to be sentenced.
