Missing Leeds Met student found dead
Former Leeds Met student Christopher Brahney has been found dead.
Brahney disappeared Friday June 29 after a Stone Roses gig at Heaton Park, Manchester.
Police launched a search while friends and family set up a Facebook group to find the 22 year old. The Stone Roses also put out an appeal for the missing fan.
Thousands of volunteers across Manchester handed out flyers urging anyone with information to come forward.
Brahney’s body was recovered from the Ship Canal on July 9.
Many of the 122,734 members of the Facebook group expressed sympathies while bands such as Primal Scream and The View paid their tributes to the young man from Timperley.
