Butter Side Up have been working tirelessly over the last 18 months to bring you the freshest talents in underground music, month in, month out. This time we make no exceptions! Bringing another debut performance to Leeds, it gives us great pleasure to introduce to you Gavin Sutherland aka Fudge Fingas.
Fudge Fingas has been making music, give or take, all of his life. He has also been playing and selling other peoples’ for at least half of that time…a true ‘music head’ one might say! His most lauded works thus far have been released by highly regarded record labels such as Firecracker Recordings and Prime Numbers. These covetable releases have been picked up, played and championed by music lovers all over the globe to great effect.
We believe though, that the time is now right for his eclectic sound, easy going attitude and esoteric philosophies to make the leap from his mind to yours. So expect to hear anything from left of centre jazzy meanderings to mind bending deep house, through to rough and ready techno, and back to psychedelically soulful late night jams…variety is the key! So give it up party people for the delightfully talented individual and masterful selector, Fudge Fingas!
