Preview: Evolution Festival 2012
Evolution festival is back! Boasting an impressive line-up, this year’s festival is bound to entertain you this Diamond Jubilee bank holiday weekend. Having confirmed artists such as Noah & The Whale, Miles Kane and Rizzle Kicks as well as headliners Dizzee Rascal (Sunday) and Deadmau5 (Monday), Evolution will be showcasing the best acts across two stages in Newcastle. North-East favourites also make up the line up; a band not to be missed and sure to play hits from new album The National Health (released June 11th) to a home crowd.
Evolution festival will also be showcasing the freshest local talent with Friday’s Evolution Emerging, as well as local artists such as The Lake Poets and Mausi who will open the main stage at Spillers Wharf on each day respectively.
With ticket prices at a bargain £25 for a day ticket and £35 for weekend tickets, this year’s Evolution festival is not to be missed! Grab your tickets in time, its certain to be one of the best small festivals you’ve been to!
