Revealed: vision of new £14 million library

A month ago, this paper revealed that the University was planning a fourteen million pound library, built on Woodhouse Lane in the staff car park behind nightclub Halo.

Now we can reveal the early design concepts for the proposed library.

The building, set for completion in 2016, will house over a thousand study spaces, a café and 6,000 metres worth of books.

The images below are still in development and will be presented as a business plan to the University Council later this year for their approval.
