Leg Work
Student-friendly offerings from House of Holland
House of Holland is the fashion brand powered by achingly-hip designer Henry Holland. 2009’s darling of the London catwalk scene, Holland first stepped into the limelight when his label launched its daring range of infamous slogan tees. The fashionistas couldn’t get enough.
Young, fun and frivolous, House of Holland is favoured by close friend and model muse Agyness Deyn, electro-pop goddess Little Boots (who wore one of Holland’s designs at Glastonbury), and girl with the most enviable wardrobe (and boyfriend), Alexa Chung.
In a recent collaboration with 90 year-old hosiery giants Pretty Polly, House of Holland has designed a range of tights far sexier than your average 40 deniers. From colour-blocking to mock-stocking, let your legs do the talking this season.
Perfect paired with an LBD or micro-mini, Holland’s tights scream ‘Look at me, I’m fabulous’, just like the designer himself. And at £10 each, I’d stock up before Alexa takes them all.
